We all want to live healthy and active lives, but do we? Statistics are showing us our lifestyles need to control our dietary intakes of fats, sodium, sugars, and other food sources that are not promoting the healthy lifestyle that we all want. We are just beginning to realize that obesity among children and adults is rising at disturbing rates.
The introduction of dietitians, nutritionists and other professionals who are becoming more visible in places such as food stores, schools, workplaces, health and fitness facilities and clinics is a good start. Ultimately the responsibility of a healthier lifestyle can only come from you, for yourself and for your family.
Knowledge of what we are eating that is beneficial and what we are eating that is not, can begin a change in our lifestyle, and ultimately lead to better health, which is what we all want. Right?
